To blog or not to blog has been the mindful debate most recently. In a culture growing more and more narcissistic by the day, I feel a bit on guard to not be consumed by myself as well. But then I have found the blogs of others to be both inspiring and helpful, so I will give this a try I suppose :o)
So the title- anthology of snippits. Confusing at first but kinda deep with a second look.
Here is a little help from dictionary.com:
an·thol·o·gy
–noun, plural -gies.
a collection of selected writings by one author or on the same subject
snip·pet
–noun
a small piece snipped off; a small bit, scrap, or fragment.
So as I begin this web log of experiences, thoughts and wonderings- they will in essence be a collection, but not in full, of me. From another angle...we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.Romans 8:28
So I suppose based on this promise that God will use even the snippits I offer him! :o)
I am so excited, you have joined the blogging world. Wow did I really just say that phrase? Ha. I totally understand your hesitation, I was in your same boat for a long time. After the world of Xanga, I thought me and this type of thing were threw. But for me it is a nice outlet. Even if no one at all cares or reads it, it's fun :) From what I can see I will highly enjoy yours, and it's nice to be able to hear and see more of who you are these days. So... I am excited! Whoo hoo!
